Welcome to ZoCo's Havanese. Please look through our site, and enjoy the pictures. There are photos of our own Havanese and also of puppies we have placed in loving homes. Their new owners are kind enough to keep in touch and send us great pictures of the puppies growing up.
Havanese are wonderful little dogs. If you are looking for the perfect family pet, you've found it! They are blessed with the sweetest personalities, are non-shedding, and odorless.All Havanese should display wonderfully sweet, calm dispositions. They should never be yappy or high-strung. They are natural clowns and are entertaining all of the time. They are also great lap dogs and often choose to lay right next to us. They adore their families and want to be with them as much as possible. If you work long hours, Havanese is not the breed for you; Havanese love to be with their humans! We occasionally have puppies for sale and welcome inquiries.
Cataracts and Patella problems are the two problems most common in the Havanese breed. All of our breeding dogs have their eyes certified with the CANINE EYE REGISTRATION FOUNDATION (CERF). Some have their hearts, hips, and patellas certified with the ORTHOPEDIC FOUNDATION FOR ANIMALS, INC. Certificates available upon request. Our goal is to breed to the guidelines of the standard. We strive to produce Havanese with all of the correct traits, paying particular attention to temperament.
